The thing we do quickly after returning home is sitting on the couch, taking out our smartphones/laptops, and then do whatever we need to do to relax. But the way we lay down in front of our electronics is the problem.

Unlike our sitting position at the office, we sit restfully at our most comfortable furniture at home and put pressure on the folds in the neck area, which causes deep wrinkles that never fade away.

You should try to hold your smartphone higher, or figure out a comfortable position where you will not be bending your neck… both your spine and skin will be grateful!

After every long hot shower we have, whether, during the day or the night, we use our favorite towels to dry off. The feeling of the soft towel on our clean skin might be one of the best feelings, but it is also more harmful than we think.

Our skin after being exposed to warm water becomes a little too sensitive, so when we rub a thick towel, we cut our skin and cause it a lot of damage. Instead, you should gently pat your body until it becomes completely dry.

You would be protecting yourself from any irritation and wounds, and also, don’t forget to apply a moisturizer as soon as you are done with the shower. Your skin will absorb the cream a lot better when it is moist.

If you happened to be home, well-rested, and happy, but you still find bags and dark circles under your eyes, then your lighting is to blame.

Thanks to the energy saving quality, LED bulbs can now be found in almost all houses, but the light it spreads can make us look a lot older than we are. To fix this issue, change all your bulbs to incorporating decorative lighting like floor and table lamps. Remember to always settle for dimmer and warmer lights.

You can also change to candlelight because it is very flattering, but make sure the candles come with essential oils like chamomile and lavender. The combination of light and odor will make you feel and look young at the same time.
