#6 – Fruits

This is one of the most popular foods to go to waste, but don’t fret we’ve got just the tip for you! When you spot any of your fruits a little rotten, turn them into jam! And don’t worry, It’s super easy.

So all you have to do is boil the fruit with some sugar and lemon juice! You can make jams with any fruit, but we’d recommend apples and pears.

Also bananas can make such good cakes, especially in the Fall/Winter. So don’t just throw them away, pretty please!

#7 – Coffee Grounds

Don’t throw away used Coffee Grounds, they can be a great alternative for a good exfoliating face scrub. If your skin is in great need of a pick-me-up, what better choice then something right in your house that you would throw away?

Firstly, it can be great to help your skin get back at its smooth usual self and also works wonders as a toner. So what you need to do is mix the coffee grounds with some milk, the idea here is to make a consistency thick enough to go on your skin without being too watery or too rough.

Once you get the consistency needed, you should try to apply it on your skin rubbing it in circular motions for a small amount of time. Then let that paste on your skin for about 20-30 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. You should feel your skin more revived straight away!

#8 – Eggs

Trust us and keep the shells of your old eggs, you can throw away the yolk and the whites!

Eggshells are amazing for the garden because they’re rich in all the nutrients that help plants and vegetables grow stronger and healthier. And it’s all quite simple, all you need to do is crush them shells in pieces and place them around your garden.

#9 – Bread

Stale bread is commonly thrown away, when not used for toasts, but we’re here to tell you a great way to not throw it away!

You can make croutons, and it’s super easy, all you have to do is put the break-in small bits and put some salt, olive oil along with any spices you might like and put them in the oven. Take them out when they’re golden and there you have it, some easy crunchy snacks for your afternoon delight!

Well there you go, I hope you have learned now to not throw away some very useful foods, and instead, start making masks and cleaning your utilities! But beware, if any of the foods listed have changed color or have a funky smell, don’t risk it and throw them away!
