One more tip before exposing how to reuse your welted veggies and herbs: don’t buy too many veggies although you know you will have no time to cook them. Buy only what you need and like.

But many seem to ignore this and like spending money when going to the market. They store their fridges with all sorts of veggies, greens, and herbs which they never cook. However, none of the welted veggies and herbs in your refrigerator should be tossed out.

Put them in Ziploc bags, then right to the freezer. You can use them, when needed, to prepare vegetable stock, which is quite easy.

Brown Sugar

Many people have this habit of storing brown sugar. For what? Not for any evident, logical reasons. You can buy brown sugar if you want to bake anything sweet, fixing sweet beverages or sauces.

There are varieties of brown sugar used in making alcoholic beverages, which should be avoided. Its color and flavor differ massively from the regular white sugar that we usually use.

You can buy boxes of organic dark brown sugar only if you are planning to open a bakery. Sometimes, if it is kept stored for a long time, it may turn into a brick.

However, it can be revived thanks to your blender. Put your brown sugar and blend it until it becomes soft. You may consider the addition of a few water drops too.

Bread

Your diet shouldn’t be void of bread for it contains nutritional properties that your body needs to have from time to time. Doctors advise consuming sugar-free bread and high protein bread, preferably rich in grain, to balance your dietary system.

It is not very pleasant to eat stale bread though, but you can use it in fixing something else. You can prepare homemade bread crumbs with your stale bread by blending the latter in a blender or a food processor.

You can add your favorite seasoning if you got one. If not, go for the usual addition of salt and pepper. Your crunchy recipes may become tastier thanks to your homemade bread crumbs.

Eggs

What do you usually have for breakfast? Cereals or pancakes? They are good options, but don’t you think that omelets are much more delicious?

You may not even feel hunger for 5 or 6 hours after having them. Omelets are made of eggs, inclusive of egg white, but you can add any other veggies you want to eat. This could be a very protein-rich and healthy meal.

In case your eggs are too old to be used in making a quick omelet, keep their shells. The calcium and minerals that eggs shells contain make them good fertilizers of your established plants. In the course of spring planting, crush and sprinkle few pieces of eggshells into the holes.

Avocado

Avocados! They are rich fruits in fiber, folic acid, vitamins A, B, D, E, C and K. Some people would have them slathered with chips in the morning for breakfast. There are different recipes that you can find online like the famous Mexican scrambled eggs with avocado as a sauce.

In case your avocados were kept for too long in the refrigerator, you are not advised to eat them. You can smash them up; then put the mashed avocado on your hair. It does not really matter whether the latter is wet or dry. After sitting for an hour, rinse it with water plus your regular shampoo.
