Wash Your Hands Well With Hot Water
Once you exit the stall, make sure you carefully wash your hands with hot water. If soap is available, don’t hesitate to use it! Also, hold your hands for about 2 minutes under the hot water as they can help in fighting bacteria and microbes.
Use Paper Towels To Dry Your Hands
Never dry your hands using the hot air as microbes and bacteria are found to thrive in the humid and hot environment. Instead, it’s better to use a paper towel or even better look for a machine with a paper towel. The latter can be found installed in many public toilets.
Never Touch A Door Handle With Your Hands
Doors handles are like the toilet seats, they are literally a breeding ground for microbes. They are touched by thousands of people during the day. This way, to avoid catching bacteria and germs, you’d better arm yourself with toilet paper or paper towel. You can wrap them around the door handle and then throw them in the trash when you leave!
Use Sanitizer
It is important to keep a sanitizer in your bag! In fact, sanitizers are very useful especially after going to the toilet, after a trip on public transport, and even before eating. They can be found in pharmacy stores and even in supermarkets.
Always Make Sure You Have Your Own Wet Wipes Or Toilet Paper
It is always a good idea to carry your own toilet paper or wet wipes with you wherever you go! You can never expect what could possibly happen! For instance, the public toilet might run out of paper and you definitely don’t wanna be stuck in such situations. Hence, it’s better to be prudent and carry your own wet wipes with you.
Don’t Hesitate To Tell The Manager About Dirty Public Toilets
Normally modern companies take the responsibility of cleaning services and cleanliness. Hence, if you notice that the toilet is dirty and not clean, hesitate not to inform the manager as your claim will help the company become better.
Bonus: If You Have A Baby
