Trashcan
If there is one thing we hate the most, then it is the odor that trash cans produce in our homes, especially if we had some “fishy” meals for lunch. However, lemon peels can prevent the strong odor so just throw a few of them in the trash. You will notice how it will neutralize it!
Hair softening
Lemons can’t only brighten our hair, but it can make it soft, too. Just mix a little of lemon juice with one glass of warm water and use it as a hair mask. Let your hair be soaked in the liquid for a few minutes then rinse it with water thoroughly.
*If you have a sensitive scalp, then it is best to avoid this step.
Microwave
If your microwave is dealing with some bad stains inside of it, then just pour in the bowl water and a few of lemon wedges, put it inside the microwave, and let it work for 50-60 seconds. After it is done, clean the inside by using a clean cloth. All of the bad odors and hard-to-clean stains will be long gone.
Whiter laundry
If it is the white-laundry day, then make sure all your white clothes are as clean as you need them to be by pouring half of the lemon juice with the clothes. But instead of drying them in the dryer, try to hang them. They will definitely look cleaner and with a much better smell.
Dishes
Sometimes, even our dishes can’t handle the amount of fat oils we have been putting in our meals, so they end up being stained terribly with a smell that can’t be handled. Well, just one tsp of the lemon juice with your dish soap can lead to their disappearance.
Also, the lemon will help you get rid of any bad smell from your hands.
Drainage
Clogged drainage is the worst. We can’t just tolerate fixing it or we end up getting a professional to help us. But the answer has always been inside our fridge: a drinking soda and hot lemon juice. Just pour it generously and the drainage will be unclogged and surprisingly improved.
