– Try to walk the desert at night. This is for a very simple reason and which is traveling at night decreases your risks of getting a heat stroke and being dehydrated. Normally, the temperature during the nighttime might falls by 35 degrees in a desert.

– The majority of people continue to believe that there is water inside cacti, which is really wrong! Cacti contain poisonous lye, which means that drinking it can automatically kill you.

– Take off your shirt or whatever you are wearing and wrap it around your head. This will protect you from suffocating when the dust gets on your face.

If You Find Yourself In Front Of A Wild Dog Or Wolf

Most of the times, wolves will only attack you if you are stepping on their own territory. This means that if a wolf notices you, you should slowly step back while keeping eye contact. Here are some additional tips :

– Never turn your back or run. In fact, by running away, you will provoke the wolf and it will automatically chase you.

– Scream as loud as you can to scare wild animals. You can also howl and speak loud while you are slowly stepping back.
