  • Ingredients
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 1/8 Cup of cornstarch
  • 1 ½ Tablespoon of black tea powder
  • ½ Tablespoon of salt
  • ½ Tablespoon of baking soda
  • 3 Tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ Tablespoon of baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ Cup of sugar
  • ½ Cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 Tablespoons of unsalted butter (room temperature)
• How to do the cupcakes: Start by preheating your oven to 350° Fahrenheit. As the oven preheats, add the milk and tea powder to a pot, and heat this mixture until it boils. Let it sit until it cools down. Take a mixing bowl, add the butter and the sugar and mix them together. Add the eggs one at a time and stir until you get a homogeneous mix. Next, the vegetable oil, the vanilla extract, and all the remaining dry ingredients. To finish it up, add the tea powder and milk that should be cool by now. Put your cake batter in tiny baking cups and put them in the oven for about 18 minutes. Remove them as soon as they pass the toothpick test, and there you have it – a full batch of delicious tea muffins, ready to be enjoyed.
