Do laundry on weekdays

Instead of finding a mountain of laundry that wants to suck your energy every weekend, make a laundry routine during weekdays.

If you can’t do all your laundry in one day, sort your clothes based on color, wash a load each day throughout the week and carry on with other things.

On the next day, throw in another load and proceed to fold the dry laundry from the previous day.

Your laundry schedule can look like this:

Monday: Wash a laundry load and dry it (if you can).

Tuesday: Wash a second load. Fold the dry laundry from the night before.

Wednesday: Wash the third load. Fold the dry laundry.

Thursday: Wash the fourth load. Fold the dry laundry.

Friday: (Is there more?) Wash, dry, fold, and iron any remaining laundry that needs ironing.

Weekend: No laundry! (you can fill the empty laundry basket with your new dirty clothes).

Try this trick and you’ll stop thinking about throwing your clothes in the trash!

Break down house cleaning

Remember when we mentioned “other things” in the above paragraph? By that, we meant this: Do other house chores like vacuuming or cleaning the bathroom while letting your washing machine do its job.

You can start sweeping your house and cleaning cobwebs every evening. Don’t forget to clean the door and wall corners of your house by using this handy technique of wrapping a damp towel around your broom and, of course, with the help of the cleaning products of your choice.

In case you’re lost on what to use, Mr.Clean and Persil are known to be among the most effective cleaning brands.
