Anyway, laundry softeners might seem like an inexpensive product, but if you do a lot of laundries, then you probably go through a lot of bottles in a year. Sea Salt Softener

It is unexpected but yes, sea salt softener is a thing. Actually, it is a great thing because it works perfectly on your clothes. But most importantly, it is so easy to make and it needs only two ingredients that you probably already have at home.

What you need: 20 drops of your favorite essential oil and 4 cups of sea salt.
Simply, mix the two ingredients together in a jar or a container, and when you do your laundry, just add two tbsp of the salt. If you have a large laundry then 4 tbsp will be better!

White vinegar softener

When the white vinegar is activated, it will help soften all of your laundries perfectly, and to get better results, you can use any essential oil you like the most to make your clothes smell like the garden of your dreams. Plus, it will basically not cost you anything since you already have all the ingredients in your household.

What you need: 15 drops of essential oil of your choice, 6 cups of hot water, and 3 cups white vinegar.
Mix the essential oil and water together in a bowl till you create a uniform mixture, add the three cups of white vinegar at once, mix it well, and then place in a jar. Only a quarter of a cup to your laundry can do the job.

Baking soda softener

If you deal with harsh-smells laundry, then this homemade softener will definitely work best since the baking soda and Epsom Salt can remove any bad smell from clothes. So why not putting only the dirty socks together and wash them with this softener?

What you need: 25 drops of essential oil of your choice, two tbsp Epsom salt (Or plain salt), half cup of baking soda. First, you should mix the essential oil and salt together, and then add the baking soda.
