1. Remove grease stains from your clothes
If you have a grease stain on your favorite shirt, fear not! Cornstarch is here to solve your problem. Take a big scoop of cornstarch and apply it directly to the stain. Let it sit for 12 hours, more or less, and then wash your clothes as you usually do. Cornstarch can absorb grease, and it will effectively remove the stain.
2. Use it to polish silver
If you want your silverware to look spotless, there is no need to spend all of your money on overpriced products. Instead, you can mix 2-parts water and 1-part cornstarch until you get a pasty consistency, and use this mix to polish your silver. Cover your silverware using your homemade paste, and then use a soft cloth to scrub it properly. Rinse it off with cold water, and you are done. If you want to remove tarnish, this is a practical and inexpensive way to do so.
3. Use it for cleaning carpet spots

Close the bag and shake it a little bit. Then let it sit for 5 minutes and shake it again. After getting the stuffed animals out of the bag, remove the remaining cornstarch using a soft brush.
5. Freshen up your rubber gloves
If your rubber gloves become damp, it will become harder to put them on and to remove them. You can prevent this issue simply by sprinkling a tiny amount of cornstarch inside your gloves. Also, cornstarch can absorb unpleasant odors, which can also be an issue with rubber gloves you have been using for a while.
