5. How to clean wood furniture

Most furniture is made of wood. It is a durable, resistant, and relatively inexpensive material that also happens to be very easy to clean. All you need is a microfiber cloth to wipe down the dust. That’s it. On dirty and sticky spots, you can also use a tiny bit of soap, just make sure you apply it to a small and discrete area of the furniture to check if the soap removes the finish. However, sometimes wood furniture gets a few white spots that don’t go away as easily. To remove white marks from wood, simply make a baking soda paste like we have taught you previously (check tip number 2) and use it to rub the dirty spot in a circular motion gently. Be extremely careful as it can damage the wood finish!

6. How to clean the walls

You don’t have to clean the walls very frequently. Once a year is enough, and you can use soapy water. But sometimes the walls can get stained with dirt or fingerprints, or your children may find it a good idea to start drawing on them. To remove all these things from walls, all you need is dishwashing liquid, white vinegar, warm water, and a microfiber cloth. Pour one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid into a small bucket filled with warm water Add ¼ teaspoon of white vinegar Let the solution sit on the stain for 10 minutes before cleaning it with the microfiber cloth Once again, remember to test this solution on an inconspicuous area of the wall to make sure it won’t lift the paintwork.

7. How to clean sofas

This is a tough one. There are several types of materials used in sofas, which means they have to be washed differently. For that reason, if you want to perform a deep cleaning of your couch to remove stains such as ink stains, coffee stains, or simply grease stains. You should look on the internet for the best way to do it, given its specific fabric – leather, polyester, nylon, olefin, etc. However, surface cleaning can be done in a very simple way. Use a bristle brush to release the dirt (be careful not to damage the fabric) Vacuum the sofa to remove large particles and dust (remove the cushions if possible and try to reach the bottom at the edges) Use a cloth to wipe down the hard surfaces such as the armrests and lower part of the sofa
