Whenever you go to the market, you come back how with many plastic bags, and you end up not knowing what to do with them. Here’s a quick solution for you: don’t throw them away! Whether that are regular plastic bags or clear plastic bags, they can be recycled in some very ingenious ways.

For example, you can use them to make a comfortable pillow for your pet or you can use them as package stuffing to keep the items you ship safe. Is this sweet plastic bag recycling or what!!?

Eyeglasses

The number of people who need prescription glasses keeps growing. Unfortunately, there is a growing number of people in developing countries who don’t have access to something as basic as an eyeglass frame. More importantly, some of them cannot even afford to buy cheap eyeglasses.

For this reason, there some organizations that accept eyeglasses as donations, sort them out according to prescription and ship them to places in the world where people need them the most. Therefore, don’t throw away your eyeglasses in the trash; take them to an eyeglass repair shop and donate them.

Old T-Shirts

Some people would shudder at the thought of having to wear recycled T-shirts, but hear us out! If you have some good quality T-shirts lying around in the house, don’t so reckless as to throw them away in the trash can.

You can easily recycle them by keeping on wearing them. Alternatively, you can use a cotton T-shirt as a rag to wipe off any dust you have in the house with, wash your car, or wipe off your kitchen top.

Rubber Bands

A rubber band is another of those things that can be described as a “godsend.” The things that can be done with these awesome, little things are numerous—your imagination, really, is the limit! Rubber band sizes are diverse, which also means that the uses of rubber bands are diverse!

These are the ways through which you can recycle rubber bands: use a rubber band to open a stubborn jar lid; wrap a rubber band vertically around a paint bucket and have it function as a brush cleaner; or wrap a rubber band around the handles of cabinet door stop your child from opening it.

Toilet Paper Tubes

When the toilet paper roll finishes, it is only natural that you would want to take it out from the toilet paper holder and throw it in the trash. However, that is not a wise thing to do, as toilet paper tubes have many uses.

For example, you can use them as hairband organizers, to keep extension cords from tangling up, or store important documents in a safe way (birth certificates, deeds, etc.) by rolling them inside the toilet paper tube.
