6. Coconut Oil

If you’re into a beauty product, you already know that coconut oil is a key product to have for many reasons. Coconut oil is a great item to have because it provides many benefits. From protecting against UV rays, removing makeup, stimulating hair growth, providing hydration for your air and skin, and much more! If you haven’t tried this product already, try to apply a small amount to your dry hair. Make sure every strand of hair is fully covered in coconut oil and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. For better results, wrap a towel around the hair for more absorption.

7. Olive Oil

It may not smell as good as coconut oil, but it is just as good in terms of results! If you’ve been noticing your hair is quite dry or unhealthy, consider adding a tablespoon of warm olive oil to your wet hair every week. Massage your scalp for 10 minutes or so for all the nutrients to penetrate your hair. In the end, you’ll notice how softer and shinier your hair will be. You’ll be able to see results right after the first try. Tip: this product is advised for thick or processed, damaged hair.

8. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is not as famous as other items on this list, but it has been used for centuries to combating skin problems, just like dandruff. This specific oil is known to fight inflammation and bacteria. It removes excess oils, dead cells, and all the dirt you may have in your hair. You can also use it on your face and body since it helps with pore cleansing. Tip: never use it directly on skin/hair. Mix it first with other ingredients like almond or coconut oil (1 to 10 ratio).

9. Fenugreek Seeds

Another great source of proteins and vitamins are fenugreek seeds. They stimulate hair growth while combating bacteria and preventing hair loss. So how does it work? Firstly, soak these seeds for 5 to 8 hours (you can do this overnight). In the morning, grind two tablespoons of these seeds and mix the resulting powder with two cups of hot water. In the end, you should be left with a slimy texture that you’ll later apply to your hair for at least 20 minutes.

10. Tea

Everyone loves a cup of tea during colder days. But tea can have other benefits other than warming up our bodies during wintertime. Tea is known to promote skin hydration as well as blood and oxygen flow through the body. This helps, of course, your hair as well. If you apply tea onto your hair every other day, you’ll notice your hair growing 2x faster! Now that you’re aware of all these healthy hair tips, what are you waiting for to give your hair a new life? Shampoos are products that damage your hair. To balance this damage, you end up buying other products such as conditioners, gels, and masks to reduce the effects shampoos chemicals cause on your hair and scalp. So why do you keep buying all these damaging products instead of saving money and buying fewer but effective natural products? You don’t need to be a hair specialist to know how to keep your hair healthy. You just need the right advice and, of course, the best products!
