Yeah, yeah, it’s pretty easy to just buy a plain camera strap, but how unoriginal and boring is that?
Well, if you already have a camera strap and you also have a bandana, and you also have basic sewing skills, we have good news for you – all you have to do to make your strap less boring is to wrap it around your original strap in a thin layer (craftly folded) and sew the bandana onto the strap, creating a sort of fun “cover”.

We say a picnic blanket, but it can be anything you want. With a little patience, you can do an amazing and creative patchwork blanket from old bandanas (or new ones, if you want it a certain color/color combination).
It will be fun and you will feel very glad when people compliment your blanket, knowing you made it yourself. If you have a lot of used bandanas that are not good enough to do a “presentable” blanket, but you don’t want to throw them out, upcycle them into a new bad for your puppy.

Add a pop of color to your bedroom with bandana pillows. You can make pillowcases for your existing pillows or you can make pillows from scratch, combining a few bandanas and filling them with foam.
If you are not really the arts and crafts type, you can improvise a cover with tied bandanas, and it will be easier to say goodbye to those fake-pillow-covers once you get bored from them.

When you started this thread about “what are bandanas used for” we bet you never thought of a case for your glasses. Truth is the soft material bandanas are made from is kind of ideal to keep your glasses from scratching.
You can make a little “bag” for your glasses from a used bandana, and even if you carry them in a proper case, this is still a good strategy to keep them clean and scratch-free.
