We are not fooling anyone when we say that cleaning products are safe and don’t cause us any harm. It is time to face the truth and admit that these products contain some of the worst toxic chemicals that pollute our air and harm our health.
Yet, we are a little “too” used to them and we can’t deny the fact that they do a pretty good job. But let me tell you something important, yes we can! That’s because we have found the replacement for them that are not toxic and contain no chemicals at all.
Would you believe me if I said I am talking about some ingredients that you already have in your household? Well, you should because there are ingredients that are cheap, not harmful, and effective when it comes to cleaning.
Removing a rust stain in your bathroom
If you want to clean the rust stains from your ceramic tiles easily, then your wish just came true because you can mix a little vinegar with baking soda then put it on the dirty area that you wanted to clean.
After a few minutes, rinse the dirt with water and dry it out with a cloth. You see? There is no need to scrub and sweat over it anymore.
Removing mud and dirt stains
Windows are the most annoying part of the house when it comes to cleaning. They attract dirt and mud stains more than anything ever, and they become very visible to the naked eye. So in order to make them spotless, here is what you should do: mix ammonia with water (1 pt ammonia to 10 pts water).
After cleaning your windows as usually do dry them out with your homemade mixture using a paper towel or a microfiber cloth. There is another way to make the windows spotless and this time is by using a raw potato.
Simply, cut it in half and rub it all over your windows. You have to wipe the juice away afterward with a clean cloth.
Making the floors shine
If you are expecting new visitors or you are just want to impress yourself with your ability to make the house looks shining, then you must try this trick.
In case you have hardwood floors, mix vinegar with water: 1 Liter of water with ¼ cup of vinegar, and if your floor is tiled, then you should use boiling water instead. Remember that your eyes deserve to see that shine!
If you want to descale the washing machine
Personally, I find the washing machine one of the most important devices in my house. Mine got broken only a few weeks ago, and the day I had to do laundry, I discovered its value. So, it is important to care for its hygiene.
Plus, it will help it work for the longest time. However, pour 80g (2.8oz) of citric acid in your washing machine when it is empty, then let it clean itself. You are basically not going to do anything, well, except paying its water and electricity bills.
