The more you read, the more you get surprised, aren’t you? Well apparently, there are many things in our household that can soften our clothes and make them smell fresh and good. However, the hair conditioner softener is the perfect solution if you found yourself out of your regular softener.

What you need: 2 cups of hair conditioner, 6 cups of hot water, and 3 cups of white vinegar. Mix the vinegar, conditioner, and the water together in a large bowl, but do it slowly so you will not create any bubbles.

Transfer the mixture to a jar, and that would be it. If you have a large load of laundry, then you use a quarter cup, and if you have a small load, then 2 tbsp will be enough.

Last but not least, this softener is going to help you save on dryer sheets. You can simply use your own old fabrics because you don’t need anymore and because they can be extremely beneficial.

What you need: 9 drops of your favorite essential oil, 1/5 cup of vinegar, and an old cotton cloth (shirt, towel, bedding, etc). You need to cut the fabric first to four small squares.

Mix the essential oil with the vinegar in a bowl, and then transfer to a jar. Place the squares to the jar and allow them to absorb. Keep turning the jar over every now and then till the fabric absorbs it all.

Hang the little fabrics to dry, and when it is time to dry your clothes, put them with your laundry in the dryer. Each small square is good for twenty loads, which will help you save a lot!
