4. How To Remove Candle Wax?

Getting rid of candle wax can be tricky, but fortunately, there is a trick for every other surface, so stay with us. Let’s start with wood floors, shall we? If you ever spill hot wax on your precious wood floors, there is no need to panic. Get your blow dryer and heat the wax until it’s soft enough to remove it using your fingers or a flat, hard object, like a credit card. If that doesn’t do the trick, you can use a bit of hairspray in the area and then wipe it off with a soft cloth. If, on the other hand, you happen to get candle wax on your clothes or in any different fabric, like a tablecloth, rubbing an ice cube onto the wax is your best option. Use a dull knife to scrape it off afterward and wash it using hot water. Last but not least, let’s talk about carpets and furniture. It can be very distressing to discover wax spills on your carpet or your favorite brand-new sofa. But don’t worry, you can fix it. Take a paper bag and place it on top of the wax spill. Then, proceed to use your iron on medium heat and iron over the bag. The wax will melt, thus transferring to the bag, making it easy to peel and remove. To finish it off, you can clean the rest of the stain using a simple mix of equal parts water and white wine vinegar.

5. How To Have Outdoor Candles

Candles can be a great addition to your outdoor party, but there is a small problem – it can be hard to keep them from blowing out. However, there is something simple you can do. Cut the bottom and the top parts of a 2-liter bottle and use that middle portion to cover your candles, creating a shield for the wind that will still allow the light of the flame to go through.
